Description
A two part toughened epoxy with long cure time. It is in paste form, it is "rubber-toughened" and cures to a flexible film.
Uses
Bonding metallic and plastics. Filter end caps. Will bond a variety of materials, e.g. mild steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, zintec, aluminium and some rigid plastics.
Advantages
High impact resistance. High peel strength. A long pot-life at room temperature after mixing. Self-levelling if heat cured. Resistance to hot hydrocarbon and some phosphate oils. Tough. Good temperature resistance. Good water resistance. Good petrol & kerosene resistance. Good gear-box oil resistance. Long cure time for repositioning.
