Marine Adhesives and Sealants
S-334E
- S-334 E is a two part, cold curing epoxy adhesive.
- S-334 E cures to a tough resilient film and bonds a wide range of materials.
APPLICATIONS S-334 E is specially intended as a general purpose adhesive for pleasure craft where its versatility of adhesion is helpful.
INSTRUCTIONS Refer to Epoxy Health and Safety Data Sheet before use. Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean and dry, free from dust and corrosion. Mix the adhesive in equal parts. To assist in this, one container has sufficient ullage to accept the contents of the other. Mix until the colour is homogenous. Spread on to one of the surfaces with, for instance, a serrated trowel, mate the second surface and lightly clamp whilst cure takes place.
S-322E
- S-322E is a two part cold curing epoxy adhesive and sealant.
- S-322E has a long work-life, about 8 hours and cures to a very flexible film.
- S-322E is designed for pleasure craft as a hull to deck sealant. The extended work-life allows the laying up of a long bond-line.
S-251E
S-251E and S-290E are two part, cold curing epoxy adhesives designed to be poured into spaces which would otherwise be traps for gas, water, waste and vermin. S-251E is light enough to assist buoyancy.
S-291E
S-291E is a two part, cold curing epoxy compound. It has a putty like consistency and a very low density. It produces a low exotherm as it cures.
APPLICATIONS S-291 E is used to bond expanded polystyrene foam where its low exotherm ensures that the cells are not collapsed and where the gap preludes the use of water-based adhesives.
INSTRUCTIONS Reference should be made to the Company’s “Epoxy Adhesive Health and Safety Data Sheet.”
Mix S-291 E in ratio Part 1: Part 2= 2:1 by kneading together, (wearing gloves) and pushing into the void. S-291E can also be used as a coating to protect the surface from abrasion.
