S-205E

S-205 E Epoxy shimming compound is a two part, aluminium filled formulation based on epoxy resin. After mixing it cures at the room temperature and can be machined 2 to 3 hours.  The cured compound does not soften at 140°C.  A noteworthy feature is the ease of application of the compound.  It is highly thixotropic paste offering no resistance to trowelling but when, applied, will stay precisely in position with no tendency to slump outside.

S-205 E epoxy shimmering compound is used for metal shimming purposes.  It can be used as a dent filler or to replace lead solder.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Ensure that the surfaces to which the compound is to be applied are dry, clean and dust free.  Preferably they should be degreased using S-4005 M.

2.  Mix together carefully the two component parts in equal parts by weight.  The work life of the mixed compound is approximately 25 minutes at normal room temperature.

3.  Apply the mixed compound to the prepared surfaces by spatula or trowel.  Allow to cure.

CLEANER:  Use S-4005 M for degreasing metal surfaces, removal of excess uncured compound and cleaning application tools
