S-2029E
DESCRIPTION
S - 2029 E is a two part, cold curing epoxy adhesive and sealant. It is designed to have good high temperature and boiling water resistance. S - 2029 E cures to a material of high compressive strength.
APPLICATIONS
S - 2029 E may be used as an adhesive to metal and ceramics where high temperature resistance is required. S - 2029 E may be used as a dent filler and sealant.
INSTRUCTIONS
Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data Sheet. Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Mix the adhesive in equal parts by weight or volume (despite the disparity in densities, the formulation can tolerate this abuse). Apply the mixture to one surface and mate the second surface. Apply light pressure and leave undisturbed to cure.
S-2390E
DESCRIPTION
S - 2390 E is a two part epoxy compound curing at room temperature. Both parts are thixotropic liquids.
APPLICATION
S - 2390E is a general-purpose adhesive capable of bonding metal, wood and plastics.
INSTRUCTIONS
Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data Sheet before use. Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from dust. Mix equal parts by weight thoroughly, apply to one surface, mate the surfaces under light pressure and allow to cure. A serrated trowel is a suitable tool with which to apply the adhesive.
S-2325E
DESCRIPTION
S - 2325 E is a mobile, two-part, cold curing adhesive and sealant. Its cure time can be speeded by warmth and its viscosity reduced if needed. S – 2470 E is the clear version of S-2325E. It does not differ in any other property.
APPLICATIONS
S - 2325 E resists battery acid and is mobile enough to flow into battery terminal posts to seal the gaps and to bond the various substrates with which it comes into contact.
INSTRUCTIONS
Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data Sheet before use. Ensure that the surfaces in contact are clean, dry and free from dust and grease.
Thoroughly mix the adhesive in the ratio Part 1 : Part 2 = 100 : 36 by weight. Do not mix more than can be used within the work-life of the mix. Pour or inject into the cavity to the required level and leave undisturbed to cure.
S-2355E
DESCRIPTION
S - 2355 E is a rapid curing adhesive with a measure of flexibility and impact resistance.
APPLICATIONS
S - 2355 E may be used in plastics assembly due to its ability to bond a variety of substrates.
INSTRUCTIONS
Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data Sheet before use. Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Mix the two parts of the adhesive in equal parts by weight or volume. Apply the adhesive to one surface, mate the second surface and clamp or jig together, within the work-life of the mix. Put aside and leave undisturbed to cure.
S-585A / S-85A
 
- S – 585 A/S – 85 A is a versatile, rapid curing adhesive suitable for bonding dissimilar surfaces in the metal and plastic fabrication industries.
- S – 585 A/S – 85 A is a premixed or two-way (one on each surface) Reactive Acrylic Adhesive. It may also be used bead on bead. It has a mix ratio of 1:1 and cures rapidly to give a strong bond on a wide range of surfaces.
- Adhesive S – 585 A is red and Activator S – 85 A is blue-green to give a distinctive colour change as an indicator of good mixing.
