INSTRUCTIONS

S-2688E

DESCRIPTION
S-2688E is a two-part cold curing epoxy sealant.

INSTRUCTIONS

References should be made to Material Safety Data Sheet.  The surfaces should be dust free but need not be dry.  Any metal reinforcement should be free of loose corrosion.  Mix part 1 with part 2 in the ratio stated below and stir thoroughly to ensure complete mixing of both parts.  Apply the sealant to the prepared surface with a brush or serrated trowel to give a thickness of approximately 1 to 1.5 mm.  Leave to cure for 8 hours.

S-2283E

DESCRIPTION
S - 2283 E is a clear two part, cold curing epoxy lacquer.  S - 2283 E is designed to repair cracks and coat faces of sand-faced bricks.

APPLICATIONS

S - 2283 E may be used either
1)    to coat bricks to receive a sprinkled coating of sand to achieve special effects or
2)    to repair cracks in building products.

INSTRUCTIONS
Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data Sheet.  S - 2283 E is mixed in the ratio of Part 1:Part 2 = 2:1 by weight or volume.  Do not mix more than can be used within the pot-life of the adhesive.  The mixed material is applied to the bricks by spotting from a syringe in case of cracks and by paint brush in making sanded faces.

NOTE.  When used as a lacquer to receive sand, paint a thin coat onto the brick surface as the sand will sink, and disappear, into a thick coat.  As the cure of the mix to be painted proceeds its viscosity will increase, whilst still being paintable.  This increases the risk of applying too thick a coat

S-693E

  • S-693A may be used to bond glass to itself, for example, glass bevels to windows.
  • S-693A permits the assembly of several bevels since it offers sufficient delay in the cure to allow the whole design to be put in position.
  • S-693A is a clear, single part adhesive designed to bond glass and to cure under ultra-violet irradiation.
