S-2495 E is a two part, cold curing epoxy fixing.
APPLICATIONS S-2495 E is designed to fill pockets in concrete or stone for fixing bolts and balustrading. S-2495 E also provides an excellent means of bedding stanchion base plates to their foundations.
INSTRUCTIONS Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data Sheet before use. Ensure the cavity is clean, dry and free from dust. Mix equal weights of the two parts and stir thoroughly. Pour some of the mix into the hole, place the insert and support it to maintain its position. Pour additional mixed S-2495 E into the hole, to the level required. Leave undisturbed to cure.
S-236E
S-236E is a two part cold curing epoxy adhesive. It is designed to be injected into gaps between concrete. As such it is highly thixotropic i.e. it is slump free at rest but easily moved into place. A special feature is that it will bond and cure on wet concrete.
S-236E can be injected from a twin cartridge into the socket and spigot joints of concrete pipes. It can be trowelled on to surfaces damaged by chipping or spalling.
INSTRUCTIONS References should be made to Material Safety Data Sheet. The surfaces should be dust free but need not be dry. Any metal reinforcement should be free of loose corrosion. Fit the twin cartridge into its gun and fit static mixer on the other end. Trigger the material through the mixer into the gap working from the furthest depth forwards. If the material is left unused in the mixer for longer than its work life, then it will be necessary to fix a new static mixer. Uncured adhesive can be cleaned from tools and contaminated surfaces with Structural Adhesive’s cleaner S-4089E.
S-222E
S-222 E is a two-part, cold curing epoxy designed for filling grooves in clay and concrete marker blocks. The particular features of S-222 E are:-
- it has a good, dense colour
- it is solvent free
- it is economical in use
- it can be made reflective or non-slip
S-222 E is applied by pouring into the grooves and recesses in marker blocks. When the epoxy is semi-cured, glass beads or flint chips can be added to the surface to create a reflective or non-slip finish.
INSTRUCTIONS Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data sheet and the labels on the product. All neighbouring joints should be pointed with mortar prior to pouring the paste into the grooves/recesses. The blocks should be dry, clean and free from grease/dust. Mix all of Part 2 into all of Part 1 thoroughly with spatula or scraper 25 to 38 mm wide, ensuring there is no residue of Part 2 left in its container. Carefully pour the mixture into the grooves or recesses until flush with the top of the marker block. Protect the surface until cure is almost complete. This will usually be the next day but traffic should be kept off the filling for a further day or two. It is advised not to attempt this work below 10o C.
S-2350E

- S-2350 E is a two part epoxy curing at ambient temperature.
- S-2350 E is a very mobile formulation and so able to take a high filler loading, for instance, of gravel.
- S-2350 E may be used as a driveway binder for gravel and chips chosen by the individual customer.
INSTRUCTIONS Reference should be made to the Material Safety Data Sheet. Ensure that the driveway is dry and largely free from dust and stones. Mix S-2350 E in the ratio Part1: Part2 = 2:1. Coat the gravel with a minimum quantity of mixed adhesive in a bucket. Typically 14mm gravel will require Gravel 10 kg Mixed adhesive 0.33 kg Pour on to the driveway and roller flat. Do not use below 5o C. Equipment can be cleaned with hot, soapy water
NOTE: This issue 2 Technical Data sheet uses a slower hardener than that cited in Issue 1 to allow a longer work-life.
S-2184E
- S-2184 E may be used to bond finials to ridge tiles.
- S-2184 E can be supplied to match given colours of tiles.
- S-2184 E is suitable for fixing facing brick slips to internal and external elevations.
INSTRUCTIONS Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet. Ensure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Mix S-2184 E very thoroughly in equal parts by weight. Do not mix more than can be used within approximately 10 minutes. Apply mixed adhesive to one surface and offer up the second surface whilst the adhesive is still pasty. Leave the bond undisturbed for at least 15 minutes, longer for small bond areas. The assembly must be kept in position until the cure is substantially complete. At this time the adhesive is not fully cured but the assembly may be gently moved aside to complete the cure. In the case of brick slips the mixed adhesive is applied to one surface with a serrated trowel. The adhesive is cured after leaving overnight but at temperatures of 5oC. and below, final curing period may be prolonged.
