Reactive acrylic adhesive are adhesives which, using graft copolymer technology, combine the high shear strengths and temperature resistant qualities of acrylic adhesive with the high peel strength and impact resistance of a reactive rubber base.  They are capable of rapid cure rates at room temperature.

These bonding systems are two part adhesives and activator and can either be used without measuring or mixing by applying the adhesive component to one surface and the activator component to the other mating surface, or as a pre-mix system whereby the adhesive is mixed mechanically with activator in a fixed ratio.

Reactive Acrylic Adhesives are high performance, solvent free adhesive with the advantage of:
- Controlled rapid or slow build up of structural bond strengths at room temperature – Saves energy.
- No mixing (except pre-mix system) –no waste.
- Handling strength in minutes or prolonged to allow assembly of complex structures.
- Bond a wide variety of materials: metals, plastics, glass, wood, etc.
- Tolerant of oily surfaces.
- Bond heat–sensitive substrates.

BONDING INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARATION
Surfaces to be bonded should be free from dust and dirt but it is not usually necessary to clean oily surfaces as the adhesive system gives satisfactory results on such surfaces.  Bond strength and durability are improved by good surface preparation e.g.. Abraded or acid etched.

APPLICATIONS
The adhesive is applied to one of the surfaces to be bonded, either as an extruded bead applied by tube, extrusion gun or dispenser, or it may be spread by spatula or knife.
