S-2197E
S-2197 E is a two part, cold curing epoxy sealant.
S-2197 is very mobile and, when cured, resists exposure at 100o C.
S-2197 E is used as an end-cap sealant for filters where the low viscosity enables it to fill small spaces in the pleats of the filter medium.
The temperature resistance of S-2197 E permits its use in aggressive environments.
Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet before use.
Ensure the components are clean, dry and free from dust or grease.
Mix 5 parts of Part 1 with 1 part of Part 2 and pour into the end cap by hand or machine. Insert the filter and allow to cure at either room or elevated temperature.
