Structural Adhesives Ltd is committed to minimising its effect on the environment, by meeting or, where practicable, exceeding the requirements of all relevant legislation and regulations. We promote pollution prevention and eco-friendly practices. We continually seek to improve our methods and day to day practices on all levels and in doing so reduce our impact on the environment.
The company undertakes an annual review of our environment performance, where we monitor and discuss our progress and set objectives and targets. At Structural Adhesives Ltd certain strategies have been implemented to create resource efficiency and waste minimisation culture. Empty resin drums are collected by an approved company and are then cleaned and recycled. It is mandatory that all paperwork is recycled and used within our packaging area. Noise pollution is minimised by a silencer and soundproof casing surrounding the fan motor and body. Therefore there is reduced noise disturbance to neighbours. The heater in the factory site is highly energy efficient and ECA approved. At Structural Adhesives machines are run to minimum to make efficient use of electricity. Our new cleaning products are non-hazardous and water usage is monitored to rapidly detect leaks and assist in reducing consumption.
